- Half-day booking: Based on a maximum of 4 hours.
- Full day booking: Based on a maximum of 8 hours.
- Overtime rates: Time-and-half after the initial time.
- Fitting Rate: 2-hour minimum for all showroom and fitting bookings.
- Travel rate: Half-day fee.
- Lingerie rate: Time-and-half fee. Applies for bras, panties, slips, pantyhose, jockey and boxer shorts, sleepwear, transparent or translucent articles. Agency must verify with the talent before accepting any lingerie bookings.
- Booking confirmation: A booking must be confirmed at least 24 hours (1 business day) before the production date. All booking-related information (location, schedule, preparations, etc.) must be transmitted no later than the day before the production date, with a minimum of one hour before office closing time.
- Cancellation Policy: On Confirmed bookings: Within 3 working days - full fee; Within 5 working days - half fee.
- Weather Permit: Weather permitting bookings must be specified at the time of option and conditions must be specified. 1st cancellation due to weather, rescheduled within 5 days, fee waived. If not, full fee. 2nd cancellation of the same booking due to weather, 1/2 rate. 3rd cancellation of the same booking due to weather, full rate. Cancellations on bookings, due to weather, without a rain date set at the time of booking, are subject to the normal cancellation policy. Cancellations that are not a result of weather are subject to the normal cancellation policy.
- Weather Permit Options: Book or release will be enforced for options when a secondary job is ready to confirm.
- Usage rights: Limited to the specific rights granted and may not be extended or upgraded without negotiations.
- Talent Releases: Must be approved by the agent prior to talent signing.
- Agency fee: A 20% agency service fee, plus applicable taxes, will be applied to all billings. Agency fees also apply to advances made by the agency on behalf of the client (travel and accommodation expenses for bookings).
- Accounting: Fees are payable upon receipt. All payments must be made in the name of Maven Management. Overdue accounts are subject to a service fee of 2,5% per 15 days.
CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Disclosure of extraordinary conditions or requirements.
- Provide adequate dressing facilities on all bookings.
- Check with the agency for advertising conflicts.
- Communicate important booking information (location, time, preparations, etc.) in a timely manner, taking into account business hours.
- To cover the additional travel expenses of the talent, if the workplace is located outside the market in which the talent works locally (Montreal / Toronto).
CARE AND SAFETY OF THE TALENT
Naked, half-naked photography in a swimsuit or lingerie requires the prior written approval of the agency. The use of the image of the template should not be pornographic, defamatory, or as part of a ridiculous or embarrassing theme for the talent. The image of the talent must not be degraded or distorted.
COMMERCIAL PROPERTY
The client agrees that it shall have no right to exploit the material in media or for purposes not mentioned in the invoices and/or booking agreements without the prior written authorization of the agency. Any exploitation of the material beyond what has been negotiated must be the subject of a new agreement between the parties and could generate additional costs.
The client acknowledges that the agency and the talent will have the right to use the Material in the talent's portfolio and business cards as well as on the agency's website and any other promotional material of either of them.
The agency's talents acknowledge that the client remains the inalienable owner of all creations taken in their favor. The client acknowledges that, by law, the represented persons remain the inalienable owners of their images.
COMMUNICATION
The client agrees that, outside of the booking time, all communication will be conducted solely through the agency. The client must communicate with the agency for any questions regarding the rights of use and distribution of the name(s) of the talent(s), negotiations, billing, or potential bookings.
PRIVACY
Parties agree not to disclose confidential information shared during the booking process.
